My Review:
Goodness gracious I have loved this series! Brash is the 4th installment in J.C. Valentine’s Spartan Riders series, and I am so excited to be a part of this blog tour. Curtis (Taco) Nash is dealing with a lot of drama and craziness involving the MC and the Cruiz cartel – all while finding it very difficult to stop thinking about a special someone. Bambi Lane has left and started fresh a few towns away, desperate to stay out of the growing tension between the MC and the cartel, but everything changes once Taco comes knocking on her door.
My favorite Spartan couple will always be Blake and Gabby, but I definitely loved Taco and Bambi’s story. Bambi has kept an enormous secret from Taco and he is extremely overbearing after first visiting Bambi, but he becomes so incredibly adorable, romantic and just yummy as the novel progresses. Bambi was very different compared to book 3 – both personally and professionally – with a noticeably softer edge about her. Not only is there plenty of steam and romance between Taco and Bambi, we also get several moments with Blake and Gabby, Country and Talia, and Repo and Ginger as things heat up between the cartel and MC and the men decide to send their loved ones away until things cool down.
I can’t say much more without spoilers, but Brash is an absolute page-turner that reminded me of how addictive this series is. The author packed so much action, romance, chemistry, and suspense into one story that it kept me on the edge of my seat and I highly recommend this novel and the entire series to fans of steamy MC romances!
