it hard to say no to her.
My Review:
Welcome to my stop on the release blitz for Hunter’s Mark, the latest addition to Wendy Smith’s Copper Creek series. I have loved this series so much, and Corey’s story was fabulous as I expected! I’ve always thought the tall, bearded Corey would be romantic and sexy given his own story and Wendy Smith did not disappoint as he comes to the rescue of Constance, who recently escaped the strange compound near Corey’s home.
I loved that Constance was brave enough to leave and I especially enjoyed her childlike wonder of being safe in Corey’s home, unlimited books to read, and so on. After a while, I started to wonder about her character because of her desire to stay inside at the house all of the time rather than finally experiencing the world, however, she luckily started to blossom.
Hunter’s Mark is the perfect blend of romance and suspense, but I absolutely loved the ongoing theme of love and family. All of the previous characters are also in this installment with some big changes for Owen and Ginny! This novel was funny, sweet, sexy, and kept me on the edge of my seat. As I said before, I have loved this series and Hunter’s Mark was amazing!
