My Review:

Goodness, I already loved this series but there are not enough words to convey my love for Lovers at Seaside! This installment is about actress Parker Collins and metal smith Grayson Lacroux. When Parker returns to Wellfleet to mourn the loss of her father-figure, Bert, she comes face to face with Grayson, whom she has been exchanging emails with for months about designs for a house. Grayson unexpectedly finds her at the house in Wellfleet during a drunken, horror-movie watching cry-fest, however, the sparks still immediately fly. But with his life in Wellfleet and her life as an actress, there were plenty of obstacles to overcome.

Grayson…. What could I possibly say about Grayson to accurately describe how fabulous he is? My now book boyfriend is amazing… Sweet, caring, family guy, smart, creative, talented, dog-lover… What else is there to say? Parker is also fabulous when she is herself, rather than fussing over her appearance and the paparazzi. I loved her emotion and how she wore her heart on her sleeves, much like Grayson. And her love for her sweet dog Christmas just made her even more likeable.

As typical with this series, Addison Cole continues to grace readers in Lovers at Seaside with all of the ladies from earlier installments, including their communal breakfast moments, chunky-dunking, and envy-worthy friendship. Not only is this novel all about romance and friendship, but also deals with the subject of loss and grief that all of us can relate to. Cole addresses loss and grief realistically and with sensitivity that is beautiful and moving.

Once again, I have nothing but the highest praise for this amazing author and for the incredible seaside stories she continues to bring readers.
