Welcome to my stop on the release blitz tour for Ilsa Ames’ latest novel, Steal Me Away: A Mountain Man Romance (and I apologize because technical issues have made this post very late)! This is the story of Logan, who lives a peaceful, quiet life in a small community which, unfortunately, has fallen victim to the effects of chemicals being disposed of in the river and reservoirs. Desperate to make the man responsible clean up his mess, Logan kidnaps his daughter, Natalia, using her as ransom to get her father to stop their current practices, clean up water in the area, and contribute to the recovery of those that is has affected. What he didn’t expect, however, was the connection between him and Lia.

If you are looking for a romance that is interlaced with relevant social/ecological issues, has a sweet and romantic alpha male, and a woman that will do anything to be with her man – then this is your next read! I have to admit that, initially, I found this storyline a bit silly and challenging to relate to. However, I ended up really enjoying this story and especially loved Logan. Lia’s character was also wonderful, but Logan was just yummy from beginning to end.

I’ve read another of Ilsa Ames’ novels, His Claim, and I have to say that I liked that one better. Nevertheless, Steal Me Away is a great escape to dive into when you are craving a sweet and sexy romance with a dash of current issues and events!
