**My Review**

Welcome to my stop on the blog tour for Melissa Foster’s Lovers at Heart, Reimagined. This is a special “treat” giving readers a new version of Treat Braden and Max Armstrong’s incredible love story! After working together, via telephone, to plan a mutual friend’s wedding Treat and Max finally meet while she’s at his resort in the Bahamas. After a magically romantic evening, a misunderstanding sends Max running home and leaves Treat with regrets. But when he decides to head to Colorado to visit his family, he is pleasantly surprised to find Max living and working there and decides to take advantage of his second chance.

As typical with anything written by Melissa Foster, I loved this novel and fell in love with Treat and Max. I have to admit that for some reason, the beginning felt a bit slow and I did struggle to get fully engaged in their story. However, that problem did not last for long and I was quickly sucked into the incredible romance between Treat and Max. I enjoyed both main characters, but there are truly no words for the incredible yumminess that is Treat Braden. He’s smart, sexy, successful, polite, romantic, and super tall (a bonus)! I loved this man from beginning to end! I can’t say that I was blown away by any of Treat’s brothers, but I also adored his father and sister. 

This novel is not just romance, however, but in true Melissa Foster form, manages to weave relevant and relatable issues regarding family, careers, romance, love, and loss. I absolutely LOVED the fact that Treat’s Dad spoke to his late wife’s horse, Hope, as if he were speaking to her, I loved Treat’s incredible manners and gentlemanly ways about him – while also being incredibly sexy, and I loved how the stars aligned with Max in Wellfleet meeting Treat’s dear friends. 

Add this one to your TBR because this is not a novel to miss! Melissa Foster has once again wowed me with her characters, her voice, and her message.
