Justin
I originally joined the Navy as an escape, to become more than a country farm
boy. Being a Navy SEAL turned me into a man, but one without a life outside the
military. I thought that was all I needed. Until everyone around began to find
their Happily Ever Afters’. I realized my life was missing love, something I’ve
been longing for. All it took was one simple letter from home to remind me that
everything I ever needed was right there waiting for me.
Becca
Losing the love of your life before he was able to meet his child was the hardest thing
I’d ever gone through. I tried to move on with my life, and find a new sense of
normalcy with my daughter and myself. One simple holiday act of kindness has
set my carefully choreographed life into a tailspin. I could never have guessed
writing a simple letter to a deployed sailor would bring us to a place we can
finally call ‘Home’ again.
Can these two trust in the things they can not see to find true happiness?
**While Faith can be read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed after reading Honor, Love, Fate, and Power.**

*My Review**

Welcome to my stop on the release tour for the latest in Andi Jaxson and AJ Alexander’s SEAL’ed series, Faith. This book is finally about the sexy Seal team leader, Justin. He’s made appearances in other books and is the older brother to Emma (of Emma and Jimmy), but this time the reader gets a more in-depth look at the quiet and somewhat mysterious Justin. Becca is young widow working as a nurse and raising an adorable three-year-old named Olivia. Justin is currently deployed and starting to realize that he wishes he had the connections that his team members have made. Becca’s unit at the hospital decides to participate in a pen-pal program with servicemen and women overseas at the same time that Justin’s sister Emma talks him into signing up for a pen-pal. Soon, Becca and Justin are exchanging letters and quickly realizing how powerful the connection is between them. In the meantime, Becca unknowingly befriends Justin’s sister Emma who becomes Olivia’s new daycare provider, meaning Becca is quickly welcomed into the entire group of friends from books 1-4.

Faith was a wonderful conclusion to this series! I think that the first book was my favorite, but this one is definitely a tie with book 3 as my second-favorite! Becca and Justin’s characters are very normal and down-to-earth, while also maintaining their own spunk and unique personalities. This was so different from some of the others in the series because the majority of their relationship in the novel is through letters, e-mail, phone, and occasional video chats. Their love develops emotionally, mentally, and intellectually rather than starting from physical and going from there – which I loved!

My favorite part, however, was the relationship that developed between little Olivia and Justin. Second to that, was the way Olivia took to Layla, despite Layla declaring that she liked babies somewhat, but not toddlers and older children. Olivia just tugged at my heartstrings from beginning to end!

I certainly recommend Faith for it being such a quick and romantic read. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly suggest reading books 1-4 just so you’ll know all of the secondary characters, their stories, and how they all became each others’ chosen family. A head’s up though, the epilogue will have you crying both tears of joy and tears of laughter!

Andi Jaxon
Raised all over the USA, Andi Jaxon is an interesting mix of East Coast
meets West Coast with a little bit of Southern thrown in, just for good
measure. She drinks too much coffee until it’s late enough to drink too much
wine and while her husband is defending his country, Andi is sexually frustrated
for your freedom. If you see Andi online, she is probably sitting in a closet,
hiding from her kids.
AJ Alexander
AJ Alexander is a wannabe psychologist, writer, and author of the
recently completed, SEAL’ed Series. AJ’s passion is writing angst-filled
happily ever afters that have to be earned by her characters. Women with no
backbone need not apply.  AJ uses sarcasm and an unlimited supply of song
lyrics to bring her romance novels to life.
AJ lives in the angst capital of the world, Seattle Washington with her
own personal knight in shining armor and her two beautiful girls.
