Blurb
From the author of Constant Craving comes a hilarious story about a woman who feels obligated to care for everyone, a sexy Marine who wants to make his first love his forever bride, and a fake wedding proposal that changes everything.
Kate Cooper has come home to Paradise Beach to help her mom recover from surgery. After all, who else is going to run the family’s tiki bar? A few months on a Florida island won’t hurt, even if her memories might.
Then Damien Hastings, her high school crush, walks into the bar one night. He’s stunning. Intense. Way more muscular than when they were in high school. And can’t take his eyes off Kate.
When Damien finds out Kate needs health insurance, he does what any gentleman would: ask her to marry him. He’s going to Syria for a year as a military contractor and has loved her for years. It’s the least he can do.
They didn’t return to fall in love. They didn’t expect to have the best sex of their lives.
They didn’t plan on a farting dog or a fake engagement.
But strange and wonderful things happen on Paradise Beach…

**My Review**

Welcome to my stop on the tour for All I Know, by Tamara Lush! This first installment in her Paradise Beach series introduces readers to Damien and Kate who had huge crushes on one another in high school and finally meet again after ten years. Damien has been in the military and Kate has moved back home to help her mother with running her local bar. Realizing that the sparks are still there between them, things quickly heat up between Kate and Damien. And when he learns that Kate needs but doesn’t have health insurance, he figures the best thing to do is get married.

This book was funny, sweet, romantic, and a quick read. I liked both main characters and could feel the chemistry between them as I read. I think I felt more emotion and connection with Damien’s character than with Kate’s, but I liked them both and enjoyed them together.

Oh, and the gassy dog was fantastic!

The confusing part about this book (series) really has nothing to do with this first book itself, but the description that each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone and they don’t have to be read in order. It looks like the second book is about Kate’s best friend, Lauren and Damien’s brother Max, but it starts when Lauren is first hearing about Kate getting married. I’m hoping that this doesn’t equate to a ton of repetition and am really hoping that we get more of Kate and Damien’s story. All I Know had a happy ending, but it wasn’t a definitive ending, so hopefully, the author has lots of surprises ahead for us!

I certainly recommend this one to lovers of second-chance romances with a unique twist. I think you will truly fall for Damien and will finish this one with excitement about the upcoming second book in the series!
