**My Review**
Welcome to my stop on the tour for the newest MC novel from author K.L. Savage, Reaper. This is book 1 in her new Ruthless Kings series and I’m pretty sure that I am going to love this series.
Reaper (Jesse) has taken over as Club President after his best friend Hawk died. Reaper has helped raise Hawk’s son Boomer and has also taken in Hawk’s daughter, Sarah. This girl is a hot mess from beginning to end! Sarah is almost, but not quite 18 and has her sights set on Reaper, who is twice her age. Most of the book is spent with her flirting with him and pushing his buttons the best she can. Reaper is staying away from her though, at least until she’s 18. At first, I was a little creeped out by the whole thing, but I promise that it grows on you and it doesn’t take long to start rooting for them to get together.
So, just I was thinking that there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of MC action in this book, all holy hell broke loose when someone from Sarah’s past comes after the MC, specifically after Boomer and Sarah. Reaper was already the typical smoking hot alpha male, but once Boomer and Sarah are in danger, he goes crazy wild. What I loved about his and Sarah’s chemistry though was that she is an incredibly strong and independent character who doesn’t take crap from anyone, earning her the nickname, “little maniac.” She has her feminine and vulnerable moments, and then a flip will switch and she’s a complete badass.
This first book in the Ruthless Kings series will be a winner for MC book fans. Granted, there are a few cheesy things here and there which I find to be true with all MC books, yet it is the best guilty pleasure! Savage is my favorite MC author and I absolutely can’t wait to read what comes next in this series. I’m crossing my fingers that the next book will be about either Tool or Tongue.
