Social media influencer Lauren Spencer is determined to find
out why her best friend is getting married on a whim. When she travels to
Paradise Beach to stop the wedding, she’s the one who comes to a screeching
halt when greeted with the sight of a gorgeous naked guy in her hotel
room.
He just happens to be the groom’s brother and the best man in the wedding.
Oops.

As a successful real estate broker in New York City, Max Hastings is never
without a beautiful woman on his arm. Whenever he’s home on Paradise Beach, he
soaks up the sun, surf, and laid-back lifestyle. But now he’s stressed out,
trying to ready his family’s resort for sale and attend his youngest brother’s
shotgun wedding. Complicating matters: the maid of honor is the sexiest woman
he’s seen in years, and he wants her in his bed.

Lauren and Max come to an agreement: a weekend wedding fling is just the thing
both of them need.

But when Lauren suffers an accident and can’t leave the island, Max finds
himself more than willing to take care of her for more than a weekend. Will
Lauren set aside her doubts about relationships to explore something real with
Max?

ALL I WANT is Book Two in Tamara Lush’s Paradise Beach Series. They are all
standalone romantic comedies and can be read in any order. If you adore beach
romances, irresistible alpha men, and hilarious wedding tales, this is the book
for you!

**My Review**

Welcome to my stop on the release tour for the second installment in Tamara Lush’s Paradise Beach series, All I Want! This is Lauren and Max’s story, which we got a portion of in the first book, All I Know. In town for Kate and Damien’s wedding, Max and Lauren have a crazy instant-attraction (well, after an instant-fight) but all goes crazy when Lauren gets injured and has to stay put for a while. They decide to give in to a temporary fling, but during this time, Lauren and Max both begin to realize that it may be more than a fling…

Let me start by saying that I like this series and I like Tamara Lush’s writing style. Oh, and of course, I loved Max! All I Want has all of the elements you would want in a fun, flirty romance and I was burning up the pages to find out what would happen next.

With that being said, I was not a fan of the main character Lauren. I’m not even sure why, but I think it was a mix of self-pity and entitlement (a dangerous mix), that just got on my nerves.

Don’t get me wrong, I will still give this a strong 4-star rating on the various sites, but it’s not a 5-star for me because of Lauren.

Each character goes through so many changes and emotions during this novel and I loved watching those things play out, especially while re-connecting with Kate and seeing how she’s doing with Damien being gone. And, initially, I loved the banter and relationship between Lauren and Max. Talk about chemistry! But about halfway through the novel, Lauren became annoying in a way that I’m not sure how to describe. I know that Tamara Lush can bring to life amazing characters, but this wasn’t one of them.

Regardless, I recommend this book and can’t wait to read what comes next in this series and from this wonderful author!

From the author of Constant Craving comes a hilarious story about a woman who feels obligated to care for everyone, a sexy Marine who wants to make his first love his forever bride, and a fake wedding proposal that changes everything.
Kate Cooper has come home to Paradise Beach to help her mom recover from surgery. After all, who else is going to run the family’s tiki bar? A few months on a Florida island won’t hurt, even if her memories might.
Then Damien Hastings, her high school crush, walks into the bar one night. He’s stunning. Intense. Way more muscular than when they were in high school. And can’t take his eyes off Kate.
When Damien finds out Kate needs health insurance, he does what any gentleman would: ask her to marry him. He’s going to Syria for a year as a military contractor and has loved her for years. It’s the least he can do.
They didn’t return to fall in love. They didn’t expect to have the best sex of their lives.
They didn’t plan on a farting dog or a fake engagement.
But strange and wonderful things happen on Paradise Beach…

**My Review**

Welcome to my stop on the tour for All I Know, by Tamara Lush! This first installment in her Paradise Beach series introduces readers to Damien and Kate who had huge crushes on one another in high school and finally meet again after ten years. Damien has been in the military and Kate has moved back home to help her mother with running her local bar. Realizing that the sparks are still there between them, things quickly heat up between Kate and Damien. And when he learns that Kate needs but doesn’t have health insurance, he figures the best thing to do is get married.

This book was funny, sweet, romantic, and a quick read. I liked both main characters and could feel the chemistry between them as I read. I think I felt more emotion and connection with Damien’s character than with Kate’s, but I liked them both and enjoyed them together.

Oh, and the gassy dog was fantastic!

The confusing part about this book (series) really has nothing to do with this first book itself, but the description that each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone and they don’t have to be read in order. It looks like the second book is about Kate’s best friend, Lauren and Damien’s brother Max, but it starts when Lauren is first hearing about Kate getting married. I’m hoping that this doesn’t equate to a ton of repetition and am really hoping that we get more of Kate and Damien’s story. All I Know had a happy ending, but it wasn’t a definitive ending, so hopefully, the author has lots of surprises ahead for us!

I certainly recommend this one to lovers of second-chance romances with a unique twist. I think you will truly fall for Damien and will finish this one with excitement about the upcoming second book in the series!
