Ace

After being given the opportunity to excavate a small cache of fossils in a remote area, Barbara is horrified to discover she’s inadvertently led a small team of her archeology students into danger. When they stumble on a secret dumping site of a vicious serial killer, Ace, the big, handsome biker takes charge. But she may have gotten herself and her students into more danger than even he can handle.

My Review:
I’m so happy to be a part of the blog tour for the latest in J.C. Valentine’s Blind Jacks MC series, Ace of Hearts. This time we get Ace’s story as he tries to overcome his past with his twin brother, and tries to get to know the beautiful Archeology professor Barbara. Once again, the reader gets to reconnect with the club Prez, Darkness, as well as, his Sargeant at arms Ryder and his fiance Tiffany.
I loved both Ace and Barbara and certainly loved the plot twist in this installment of the Blind Jacks MC series. They already had several obstacles against them including Ace’s distorted sense of self, Barbara’s annoying/borderline stalkerish ex-husband, and just the overall differences in their lives. However, Valentine managed to weave a suspenseful and exciting story that caused all sorts of upheaval within the club, making this one a page-turner.
I maintain that the first in the series, Marked for Death, is my favorite, but I love this series and was excited about getting the opportunity to participate in this blog tour. If you are a fan of raw, often offensive, but sexy biker novels, then the Blind Jacks MC series should be on your TBR, and especially Ace and Barbara’s story! I can’t wait to read the next installment and am crossing my fingers that Jack (new prospect) will get his own story very soon!
